Our Journey Begins in Keshiary
We are three boys from Keshiary, a small town with big dreams. Like many people here, we grew up enjoying the taste of fresh, home-cooked food, shared with friends and family. But over time, we noticed something — while big cities had apps like Zomato and Swiggy making food delivery quick and easy, smaller places like Keshiary were often left behind.
Restaurants here serve amazing food, but customers don’t always have an easy way to order from home. Delivery is often slow, there’s no central platform, and people end up spending more than they should. We thought — why should only the big cities have access to affordable, fresh, and fast food delivery?
That’s when our dream was born: to create Asafoo, a food delivery platform for our own town and beyond.
Who We Are
We’re not a big company. We’re not backed by huge investors. We’re just three friends with laptops, determination, and a shared love for food.
We know how it feels to be a customer. We know what it’s like to wait too long for your food, to pay extra for delivery, or to get something cold when you wanted it hot and fresh. That’s why our mission is simple:

Why We Started Asafoo
1. To Bring Big City Convenience to Small Towns
In big cities, people are used to tapping their phone and getting food delivered within 30-45 minutes. But in towns like Keshiary, this wasn’t the norm. We wanted to change that — to make ordering food as easy as sending a WhatsApp message.
2. To Support Local Restaurants
Many small eateries here serve fantastic meals, but don’t have the resources to reach more customers. Asafoo connects them to people across town, helping them grow their business without big marketing costs.
3. To Make Food Affordable for Everyone
Good food shouldn’t be a luxury. We aim to keep prices low, with minimal delivery charges, so everyone can enjoy tasty meals without worrying about the cost.

Our Vision
We don’t just want to be “another food delivery app.” Our dream is to become the most trusted and loved local food delivery platform in Keshiary and surrounding areas.
We aim to:
- Expand our service area beyond Keshiary to nearby towns and villages
- Add more variety, from snacks to full meals, vegetarian to non-vegetarian, healthy to indulgent
- Provide employment opportunities for local youth through delivery jobs and app support roles
- Keep improving technology so our customers have a smooth ordering experience
Challenges We Faced
Building Asafoo hasn’t been easy. We’ve faced:
- Limited resources – We started with no investors and had to use our own savings.
- Technical learning – None of us had built an app before, so we had to teach ourselves coding, design, and app management.
- Convincing restaurants – At first, some owners weren’t sure about joining. We had to prove that Asafoo could actually help them.
- Delivery logistics – In smaller towns, roads, weather, and transportation can make fast delivery tricky.
But every challenge has taught us something, and we’ve become stronger because of them.
